Scienceworks Experience 2019 On Friday the 21st of June the Year 2, 3, 4 and 6 students visited Sciecneworks for the day. The students explored a number of concepts while there but a highlight for many was the coding and robotics workshop. READ MORE
Learning Through Lunch On Friday 21st of June the Year 5 students and Mrs. Denmead went along to the Gordon Institute in Geelong. We had a tour of the facility and learnt about the courses on offer and then participated in a two course lunch where the students tried many new foods. READ MORE

Gaga Pit Gaga Ball is beleived to have originated in Israel. Ga means 'hit' or 'touch' in Hebrew. Gaga is a fast paced sport played in an octagonal pit. The game is played with a soft ball, and combines the skills of dodging, running, and jumping, while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. READ MORE
ANZAC Day 2019 On Tuesday 23rd of April we held an ANZAC commemoration service at school. Mrs. Leen played the last post and our school leaders led the service. Mini Mudder On the last day of term one Newcomb Park PS held a wonderul school community event - our inaugral 'Mini Mudder.' The students, staff and parents/carers all participated in an obstacle circuit full of mud, water and fun! READ MORE

Youth Ambassadors at NPPS This year we are lucky to have Dianne Hobbs working with 4 of our aspiring leaders - Tabby, Baylee, Jak & Ava. The Salvation Army are running the 'Youth Ambassadors' program and these students have a weekly leadership development session to explore local issues and discuss what makes a good leader. READ MORE

Jump Start Into Newcomb Park Over the first two weeks of the school year all classes were participating in the program 'Jump Start Into Newcomb Park!' This program focuses on building the sense of community within each classroom through social activities and the creation of classroom expectations and routines. READ MORE
